It provides a clear way to main space of usage which has led to its popularity recently. The idea is great as users usually have no difficulty finding the menu, as long as they know what they are looking for. Little do the designers understand that it is a dangerous bet for higher visibility means higher usage and limited visibility means less exposure to options immediately.<\/p>\n<p>E-commerce sites and news sites suffer the most as a result for their businesses are highly dependent upon immediate exposure of the user. Not to forget that even for RSS feed hamburger menus won\u2019t do you much good. If your website belongs to one of the categories mentioned, then perhaps hamburger menu is not for you.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Popup_Menu\"><\/span><strong>Popup Menu<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Drop down menu can be a nightmare especially for the small screens, regardless of the skill level of the users. Popup menu controls can really save us all in this regard as it has a contained list of menu options which are super easy to become friendly with and scroll.<\/p>\n<p>However, the use of popup menu works best when used in settings where it actually fits. Take data input for signups, dates, or to make any other process streamlined. Constant popups for various other marketing reasons can be annoying unless they are simply creative and are easy to shut down.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Complicated_Typography\"><\/span><strong>Complicated Typography<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>There are so many typefaces available today that they tempt the designers to use as many as they can on a single page. Although this is a major flaw for any kind of website, a lot many designers are still using it.<\/p>\n<p>Using more than two or three fonts in a single document is really confusing for the user especially when there is a lot of text that you want the user to read, but their focus is lost. There may be circumstances that holds the right justifications for using various fonts but bear in mind, they are never a good idea if you are aiming for aesthetic appeal or improved readability.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Negative_Space_Whitespace\"><\/span><strong>Negative Space\/ Whitespace<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Negative space, often known as white space, has an important part to play in the\u00a0usability of a website. It is the space that is often found between or around an image, or a design element. It has its own power as an artistic element in art as well, such is its importance. For a website, it helps make the content easy to read. The web designers, unfortunately, consider it as a wasted space.<\/p>\n<p>When the CSS and HTML elements leave no empty space as default, a\u00a0problem arises but it is often ignored by the designers. What happens as a result is that the content does not stand out and the Call to Action (CTAs) don\u2019t stand a chance too. Ensure that you work on getting a good negative space to tweak those elements into being easily visible so they stand out and don\u2019t look too crowded.<\/p>\n<p>There is no one such rule that applies to all the web designs. Therefore, it is necessary to look into the matter and decide based upon the appropriate implications of each of the trends.
