It is time to clear the decks guys because the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> season for Pakistan super league is about to begin. Not just fans from Pakistan, but people from across the globe are waiting eagerly to buy PSL tickets &amp; gear-up for the upcoming tournament that is scheduled to be held in Dubai.<\/p>\n<p>One staggering update for Pakistani fans is that the PCB chief Najam Sethi has announced that PCB is striving industriously to ensure that this year\u2019s final be organized in Karachi. The announcement was made in Multan on June 1<sup>st<\/sup>. The team of Multan will be named as Multan Sultans (a quite cheesy name). Furthermore, Najam Sethi asserted that:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe will have 6 teams and 34 matches, with 3 matches in Pakistan &#8211; 2 taking place in Lahore and 1 match played at Karachi. International players will be paid USD 10,000 per match to play in Pakistan next season. A seventh team would be included in the PSL after two years based out of FATA, Sialkot or Faisalabad. Inshallah!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The PSL schedule for 2018 has come out of the bag. You can check the schedule below. The first match is starting from Feb 22<sup>nd<\/sup> and the final is expected to be held in Karachi on the 25<sup>th<\/sup> of March. However this year, it is deemed indispensable for the players to play the final match with a whopping offer of $10,000 per match as compensation. On the other hand, no allowance will be offered for skimping out on these matches.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, only one match was played in Pakistan, which was the final of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.branex.ae\/blog\/pakistan-super-league-2017\/\">second edition of PSL<\/a>, hosted in Lahore.
